They had us and others setting up on grass and with all the rain it became a mud zone. I had to use 4 wheel drive (low) to pull out my pop-up trailer. Lots of seasonal campers. The staff was friendly. Bathrooms were clean and showers were being renovated while we were there so it should be nicer now. The pool water was clean.
Very nice campground and the host/owner is very pleasant. It was raining hard when were there in late June but the sites were dry. The diamond mine was fun for everyone to explore and dig in. We would stop here again on our next trip. Very quiet and relaxing. No seasonal campers.
The staff was great. They let me change my site without problem after the first night. I stayed in the lower area next to the creek and away from the rail road tracks. The rail road noise was not that bad. There was some factory noise that came from across the stream including a back up alarm from some heavy equipment at 1am. The bathrooms were clean but need some better maintenance.
